It took just one day for someone to make an off the cuff comment with info shared innocently by someone on the board to prove my point.

I chose the board to garner rapid support within the backgammon community, not for their ability to run start-ups. They play backgammon. They're smart. But they're not entrepreneurs. Maybe Perry was a long time ago, which is not to take away from his accomplishments. But he's not now.

I just keep thinking about it. And laughing. Raise fees for a magazine almost no one reads (my very point in private email - Joe, right?) and lower fees for the rest. Egads! Whose making these decisions?

And I'm not the only one who has told the board to stop wasting resources on the magazine. But I retain the confidences in the emails I receive.
