a comparison of membership levels and cost

i agree that in order to survive the USBGF needs to grow, however i'm not convinced that raising the rates is the right way to go. for kicks i did a comparison of membership levels and costs for several other organizations. the costs are for a 1 yr. regular adult membership (there are other levels available for most also) and the membership levels are either from wikipedia, the games website or the games most current ratings list if no other information was/is available.

USCF (chess) 77,000+ $46.00

AGA (go) 2,000 $30.00

ACBL (bridge) 160,000 $28.00

ACF (checkers) 122 $41.94

ACC (cribbage) 100 $15.00
