Many organizations have a preferred hotel or vendor from which they extract excellent concessions. It's not an unusual practice.

Mind you, it would only be done if overall value would be increased. Either through lower rates, more money to the USBGF, etc.

Usually buying in bulk is more cost effective. So one hotel chain gets 20-25 tournament (or 6,000 - 7,500 room-nights) and discounts for the effective bulk purchase.

Car rental companies might be approached. Perhaps there could be a special code (PC code at hertz for example) that has hertz donate $1 / car-day rental to the USBGF tax-free entity. Dunno about that tho - just a thought/guess/possibility.
