If you donate it to a coffee shop, be sure the place has sound financials. I donated an older board to a coffee shop, and came back later to find the place locked and the board still inside--I could see it through the glass in the door, but couldn't get it back out! I know Limbo doesn't exist any more, but that is where it apparently was. I never got that one back.

Another coffee shop at least called to tell me they would be going out of business at the end of the month, and asked if I wanted to come get my board. Since it already was almost the end of the month, I got over there in a hurry and got it, fortunately a step ahead of the goons that bring those giant padlocks.

So right now that board is at another coffee shop, which is not out of business...not yet, anyway. A game has yet to break out there, but since there is a board, perhaps some day the players will come.
