I am a little torn by the switch part, as we can just hit loose. I do think that making white play a single checker (upon reentry) will hurt him significantly, as he cant make a point with it, and it will be loose in the outfield.

I suppose here, you just need to move the back checkers around. The race is horrible right now, and theres a whole lot of work to do to move those back checkers.

I hate these types of positions. 200+ race, lots of stupid positions ensue, nothing even remotely resembling a 'backgammon-type position' will come out, and you get to make a foolish number of TMP plays in an effort to rescue the back checkers.
