55 in unfamiliar territory

A 7 point match and cube on 4. Winning a gammon wins the match. Winning a game puts blue 4a-6a, losing game 7a-3a.
White's position is not great. Positives are that he is ahead in the race, has an anchor and mid-point, has access to the cube and could be shooting some blots next turn. Negatives are a weak home board with 4 men out of play, a stripped mid-point and the blot on 1.
Blues position is not that bad. Positives are a strong home board, and biggest negative is the lack of any outfield control.
This can't play out as a backgame for blue. While white's main aim is to maintain his lead and win the race. Blue needs to gain some outfield control with 21/16(2) and I think should be trying for the gammon by attacking the blot on 1. The choices are 10/1* or 6/5(2)*. I favour the 6/1 play as it you then have two checkers on 10 and eleven to attack on the 6 point. Hitting also stops white from making an inner board point with anything except a 66. Next roll for blue, big numbers slot the 6 point and small numbers build an anchor.
21/16(2) 6/5(2)*
