Seems like there are three ideas:

1) POH on the 3 point 2) Make the bar point 3) Make the 4 point

Since white lacks timing, trying to win going forward is a viable option, so POH looks reasonable. One way to get timing is to build a prime yourself to trap the stragglers, and making the bar point accomplishes that. Or one can make the four point, letting black to scoop up one or both blots.

Pure play is probably the right idea, I'm just not sure whether making the bar or the 4 is more pure. 13/7 seems more pure, so I'll go for that.
