20/14 diversifies frontside with low risk (since every hit gives us at least an indirect shot). We might even prefer getting hit if we knew opp was going to roll 55. There is likely more danger being unable to safety this checker next turn than with the immediate hit. But it gets harder to diversify in the future, too.
