Computers are significantly faster than when Robertie wrote that four years ago so you should be able to apply stronger settings than 2-ply 648 trials.

I just use the preset that comes with XG2 (Moves 3-ply, cube decisions XG Roller, 1296 games with Variance Reduction) and get acceptable performance on my newish but not state-of-the-art computers. If I don't want to wait for a full rollout I just use XGR++.

Performance will depend on the speed of your computer and the complexity of the position, so there's no magic setting to give the "less than 5 minute accurate rollout".
