Eh...I guess some nit picking is allowed =)

Yes, CT definitely has a strong backgammon history and there have been many tournaments with different names, including at least one that was named a state championship. However, this is the FIRST ABT sanctioned multi-day event (Thank you Bill Davis!!!) We are incredibly happy to be hosting this event with the full support of not only our club but a few others in the New England/Northeast region.

By the way FREE INTERNET access from the hotel for those who like that sort of thing. There is also a FREE shuttle for anyone who wants to go to Union Station or the downtown area.

Travelers can get to the hotel from the airport via hotel shuttle. It costs $20 per person each way based on availability. It is approximately a 14 mile/15ish minute ride. BOOK THE SHUTTLE when you make your reservation. You can call (860)549-2400
