XG on different platforms

So, I am looking around at some of these Windows Tablets, with the idea that I'd like to have XG run on one of those, and take it to tours with me - perhaps even use it to record video of my matches. It occurs to me that there are cheaper tablets out there that run Android (I dont like XG Mobile on my iPhone).

So what are the plans for XG on Android, or XG through a web browser?

Also, I know that there have been questions in the past about automatically reading checkers, and creating positions from that - is there any further news on that area?

Related: Does anyone transcribe matches on these tablets? Is there an easy way to do it - when you dont use a keyboard?
