OT — Testing font-size small

Testing font-size: small

Absolute sizing makes a difference.

Of the sizes tested so far (inherit, 14pt, 16pt, 20pt, 24pt, medium, large, x-large), only medium seems to work on all three of the devices tested.

  • Nexus/Chrome: All sizes except Inherit fill screen automatically.
  • Nook/Droid: Inherit and Medium fill screen. Other sizes are too big. They clip off a few words at the end of each line. Zooming back displays full message.
  • Laptop/HD Screen/IE9: Inherit and Medium are both acceptable. Other sizes are too big, although nothing is clipped. Inherit does not change the font size used by BgOnline. Medium is a tiny bit larger.

I am adding three more sizes to this test. This message uses font-size: small.

For most readers, there is no need to follow this thread.
