At gammon go, I would try hitting on the 8pt. According to the pseudo-cubeless numbers in your rollout it wins a gammon 14.83% of the time compared to 13.02% for a hit on the 5pt. Meanwhile, it wins only slightly fewer games, 48.68% to 49.61%.
