This is one of my favorite positions from the book, mainly because it is relatively common, and the play changes significantly with small variants.

Igor, First of all thanks for all the positions from books posts. I find most of them interesting and keep some as references.

With respect to this position, I will recommend many variants to it as the play should change significantly. I actually did that not long ago. For example, move a spare from the 13 to the 8; move the spare from the 6 to the 8; move opp's 11 pt forward to the 10, 9, and bar pt; change opp's advanced anchor to different points. I know it is a lot of work, but I think that there is a lot of valuable information that can be extracted here.
