24 shots is 66.7%, but extra checker off and other slim chances should bring White's chances under 65%. Of course, White does not have to take the redouble if he misses with one of twelve numbers. Therefore, his gammonless doubling point is 15/(15+9.3)~62%. Noting that after misses Black could do better by holding the cube and playing for a gammon, I would not have redoubled.
