What Are The "Normal Match Scores?"

Seems to me nobody can give a good definition. Probably because such definition does not exist. When people say "Normal Match Scores", I believe they refer to even scores in a long match. [7a-7a or more, perhaps?] Of course, the problem is to explain what makes them "normal" and what makes scores that does not fall into this category not "normal". There are too many problems in statements such as "resemble money play" or "take-points and gammon values are roughly as in unlimited game". I am with David on this one. That is, I don't like this term.
