Just peel. 5/off. I think the logic here (and I could well be wrong) is that brown here is one large set from being right back in this. So, even though you expose yourself to the 55,66 blotting numbers, they still peel several more checkers, and browns board isnt enough to worry you about entering.
There are of course a very small amount of additional gammons to be had by peeling (its a super minor consideration).
If you just break off the 5pt (keeping the board intact) then you are slowing down your bear off unnecessarily, so thats out. Lifting from the 6 exposes you to the joker sequences I mentioned for brown. So, 5/off.
