See the Spurs vs. Bulls while at 2014 Texas Backgammon Championships in San Antonio

In keeping with our commitment to make the Texas Backgammon Championships a 'destination tournament event' we have acquired twenty tickets to the San Antonio Spurs/Chicago Bulls NBA game on Wednesday night, January 29, 2014.

This is a unique opportunity for backgammon players to see two of the best NBA teams. The Spurs were in the NBA Finals this past season. The Bulls made the second round of the playoffs this year while not having their best player for the entire season. They should be a real force next season. Many of our tournament attendees -- the international players and players from smaller market areas, as examples -- have never had the opportunity to see a live NBA game. So, we're excited to provide this option to them. And, of course, there are a number of Bulls fans among the many Chicago and Midwest area players.

We have 10 tickets in the sixth row of the upper level near center court at $50/each and 10 tickets about midway up in the lower level in a corner at $96/each. We will also have 'courtside experience' passes (no additional charge) that will allow our entire group to enter the arena an hour earlier than the general public and to sit courtside during warm-ups, etc.

Hope you can make our tournament. Let me know if you want one or more of these tickets and which location. We expect them to be popular and have begun promoting them today. Obviously, we make them available on a first come, first served basis. We can likely acquire more adjoining seats if we need to do so.
