A Word about Nactation

Hitting and pointing on the 7pt outranks pointing on the 5pt. This seems odd at first, because we are so used to awarding upper case P to 8/5 6/5.

In this position, however, there are two ways to make a point with 31. To decide between them, apply the Hit/More/Six Rule. The Six-Point Convention would award the capital letter to making the 5pt, but in this case, it is trumped by the Hit Convention.
