Cheapskate?

That solves 2 problems. First, it's probably going to run less than 10% or could while still being a nice dinner. And second, almost more importantly, does away with the need to actually hand money over, which, as I mentioned, makes me uncomfortable in this situation.

Thank you!!! I think I'll start making it a point of staying until the next day (when possible). First, it's more relaxing - racing Sunday afternoon was very stressful and it's certainly nice to be able to do an after-tournament or watch other finals. Second, on the off chance I win or place second (and I have no expectations! Just wishful thinking!) in an open event I can make this offer.

Staying until the day after is often no more $ than leaving that evening - I'm actually saving $ by staying until Monday morning for ft lauderdale.
