I Know I Don’t Know!

Making the 4pt seems natural enough. I tried to find an alternative that did not do that, but could not.

Before moving, Blue trails by 13 pips. If White rolls an average roll, he will trail by the same amount next turn. That being the case, I am inclined to hold both anchors, although I considered 20/16(2) and 18/16(2).

By process of elimination, that leaves me with 20/16 6/4(2) and 13/11(2) 6/4(2).

If a shot materializes, Blue would like to have a strong board. The quickest way to get one may be to bring the midpoint checkers home.

Tough problem.
