I'd be tempted - was when I saw it. The 4 point feels so natural but you realize if he anchors on the deuce he has such a perfectly time 1-2 backgame.

I'd play hitting 3 first. Anchor or hit? I'll fess to the anchor but just by the slimmest margin (I'll take your post as implying that hitting 4 is correct).

The other consideration here is that a backgame in the hands of most opponents is not going to be played perfectly.
