I don't know what you mean, Rod, but I suggested a way to fix the USBGF Elo rating list a long time ago, and it wouldn't have been hard to do, only tedious, possibly, depending on how flexible the database is.

By fix I mean one rating list for all members with ratings approximately appropriate to players' level of competition. I don't believe it's wise or necessary to run separate lists for Open, Intermediate and Novice players, for several reasons, most obviously because players not infrequently change divisions, and because no other rating list-keeping backgammon organization has lacked for having only one rating list.

I got no response then. If someone at USBGF in a position to effect changes in the rating list is interested now, they might contact me.
