Very reasonable pro point of view.

From my am point of view, I think something in the following form might be beneficial to both pros and ams: the entire fee is paid by ams who find themselves partners among available pros. It is up to each team to discuss the matter of splitting the potential prize money. In this scenario everybody wins. Ams get an invaluable experience, while the pros essentially get to play in a freeroll. At the same time the pros are not forced to play with a partner they would rather not play with otherwise.
