We should recognize that many people these days play most of their backgammon online. When they play live they're more likely to make mistakes like this. Ditto for people who are from parts of the world where clocks, dice cups, and rules aren't the same as at ABT events. Cut them some slack and play with etiquette and fairness. Don't use the rulebook as a weapon to eke out a win. That kind of crap just drives people away from the game.

Thumbs up on legal moves.

Thumbs down on people who exploit rule technicalities.
