In Response To: Impossible Move in Connecticut (Taper_Mike)

If someone were to ever foolishly buy me in Calcutta they should be making concessions in their bidding before hand that I'll play legal moves even if my opponents aren't, and I will make a decision that I think is morally right even if it means giving up large amounts of equity.

The people who buy me don't get to dictate how I will act, or what decisions I can make. Their recourse IMHO is to buy me cheap or not at all. If someone is going to back me, they should know who they are backing first (outside of the fact that I am just mediocre).

Calcuttas, side-betting, and the like should not affect a players ability to play their own game.
