If it is an ABT event and they are using the stock USBG rules, then the TD is wrong IMHO. The rule is written very badly, and the dead cube rule is actually the culprit. If a TD has house rules that are published that change the nature of the standard rules that seem to be used, sure.

If you can find it in the existing rules where you can't end a match on a drop then I'd like to know. Because with the ones in place that most events follow, I believe that it is very much possible if the Dead CUbe rule is not dealt with.

If such a rule exists in the current rules, I am more than happy to amend my position if it is pointed out.
