Our local club in Dayton, Ohio (Miami Valley Backgammon) has adopted the legal moves rule.

We have been using "legal moves" for about 4 years now, and the overwhelming majority of our players are very happy with it.

There are only 2 of our players that have told me they do not like using "legal moves".
