Scott Kelland easily could have racked up his second advanced win in two weeks. We did discuss moving up to open and he must make his own choices.

It shouldn't be his choice. Players must be assigned to divisions according to their performance (while nobody should be required to play below the level they wish to be at). There is a well-known group of blatant sandbaggers who keep cashing year after year at advanced/intermediate level. Unfortunately, at this point neither USBGF nor many TD's wish to take any serious action regarding this issue, which, I believe, hurts the game tremendously.

Question to Bill Riles: Bill, if you read this message, do you plan to take any steps to address the sandbagging issue as the new USBGF leader?
