Taking your $25/point as standard, it doesn't seem to me that $100 for an 11 point match is ridiculous.

To equate money play to a match, you need to look firstly at the mean points generated in a money game. When the bots play, this is around 2.25. Then, using Random Walk Theory you take the square root of the number of games in a match. The average 11 point match has about 8-9 games, I believe. The product of these two is around 6.56, meaning the $100 stake is equivalent to around $15/point. Not ridiculous compared to your $25 standard, even more so as Ed is also offering a similar bet on the PR's!

Seems a reasonable stake too for a pensionist, not a millioner. (With apologies to Iancho, whose English is a tad better than my Bulgarian.)
