Not quite right

Assuming that the person trying to figure this out is not very bright, there may be complexities that the directive "use a calculator" doesn't solve.

For that statement to be practical, they must be able to figure out how to make the comparison in order to make the proper calculations.

And even if they can, there is still the matter of the simplest way to calculate it with a calculator. All of the methods suggested can be solved via calculator. Some are more complex than others.
