9/8 8/6 jumped out to me (partly because it was morning, before my first coffee and I overlooked the checkers on the mid, but there you go). Even with the coffee I just play safe. Next turn we may be able to play safe, run from the mid with doubles, or hit loose, as the dice dictate. There is no need to immediately leave a lot of shots.
