Bob's explanation makes sense. Here's a similar example with GNUBG.
The score (after 0 games) is: gnubg 0, Daniel 0 (match to 1 point, post-Crawford play)
Move number 7: Daniel to play 33
gnubg 22
Daniel 142 Position ID: AAAgwK6HUgQAAA Match ID: cIktAAAAAAAE
# Ply Move Equity 1 2 19/16 13/7 12/9 -0.8807 0.0596 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9404 0.3866 0.1766 2 2 19/7 -0.8834 ( -0.0027) 0.0583 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9417 0.3784 0.1536 3 2 13/7 12/6 -0.8846 ( -0.0039) 0.0577 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9423 0.4014 0.1624 That's wrong; Blue can't let White escape with a simple 6, especially 66, of course.
The score (after 0 games) is: gnubg 0, Daniel 0
Move number 5: Daniel to play 33
gnubg 22
Daniel 142 Position ID: AAAgwK6HUgQAAA Match ID: UYkNAAAAAAAE • Daniel moves 12/3* 6/3
# Ply Move Equity • 1 2 12/3* 6/3 -1.1085 0.0534 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9466 0.1749 0.0586 2 2 16/7 6/3* -1.1163 ( -0.0078) 0.0526 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9474 0.1755 0.0640 3 2 19/16 13/7 6/3* -1.1228 ( -0.0143) 0.0562 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.9438 0.1888 0.0655
