If fewer than 3 of your players make it to the final 4 (5), then you lost that bet.

If 3 of your players made it to the final 4 (5), then I'd say that the bet should be invalid as there's a chance that 1 of your players made it to the final 4 because of the extra spot which wasn't considered at the time of making the bet.

If 4+ players made it to the final 4 (5), then I'd be inclined to let you count it as a won bet since having guessed 80% of the final 4 (5) is better than the 75% which was the original bet.
