Touch-Move Side event at the Chicago Open

While I think it would be an interesting experiment, and while I am sure I could play touch-move at about the same (poor) level as I play normally, I don't see a compelling reason to enter a side event just so I can play touch-move. It's just not that much fun and different to cause me to use up my valuable time at a tournament where I could be doing other fun things, watching great players, or just relaxing.
To interest me in a side event, and I think this is true of a lot of people, there has to be an incentive far greater than just trying out a new rule.
I would gladly play backgammon-to-lose--my favorite side event of all time and lots of fun. Mini matches are quick and fun and you don't have to think a lot because the cube is simple. A blitz or knockout isn't even attractive to me unless there is a lot of money involved. Nackgammon would really interest me. KillPhil is a great side event as I love to kill Phil and I like the rule of not making a point on the first roll.
I just don't think this will be a successful side event because so many people don't like touch-move and the ones who do or who might like it, like me, don't care enough about it to enter an event just to do it.
Now, play touch move, but you have to play blindfolded, and I'm in. that would be a real challenge and lots of fun.
