Jadestone network (Betfair / PAF etc) closed

Another backgammon network closed. First TMG, then Play65, now Jadestone.

Is this a sign of backgammon popularity dwindling? Or just a sign that online backgammon just doesn't work, as in too much cheating, or too expensive to maintain, etc etc.

I used to like TMG very much, I think it was by far the best backgammonsite ever (on which to play for money). Nowadays I think there is nothing to play online backgammon anywhere.

Had hopes for gammonpower, but I doubt that site will ever come from the ground.
