Flaw in PR / Is this wrong?

Someone just sent me a match (doubles) where we played a 7.86.
Our opponents were decidedly weaker and I made a call to drop the first 2 cubes, even though I said they were technically takes. I felt that there was just potentially too much luck involved and too little skill in the position to take either.
The 2nd to last game at 3-3 we owned the cube and "should" have recurred to 4.... 4 times in a row, 0.080 error each time.... we and our opponents danced 4 times each. For the same reasons we dropped the first 2 games, I'd never in a zillion years cube t against them (0.403 D/T, 0.322 ND/T... 56% to win with a position that luck factored into so much).
We won the match.
Without the intentional cube errors, we played a 3.4. (Had an icky blunder the last game).
I'm of the mind that my true PR that match was 3.4.... Is this wrong?
