All rated matches in Denmark count on the same rating list.

Sure it is possible for someone to win a lot of rating in a low division. If someone does that, then it's because he's a good player. Some tournaments have rating restrictions where you're only allowed to enter the beginner bracket if your rating is below X.

Maintaining a high rating in a low division is hard because you're playing low rated players so you're only gaining few rating points when you win and it costs a ton when you lose. Your win rate will be better than what it would have been in a higher division but your rating will be roughly the same as it would have been if you had been competing in a high division.

When someone builds up a high rating in a low division he may be invited to play for a team in a higher division.
