Getting the larger masses of not so big tournament players, or purely local players, engaged in USBgF, will give you the leverage you need to start making things happen, and not be "bullied" or "slowed" by various tournament directors with their own rules, tournaments, tours and views on how things should be and not be.

This is key to having a smooth federation governing the growth and evolution of backgammon in a country.

I've stated this before - I do believe that having the rightly talented people put in the efforts, would make it possible for you to run the biggest tournament in the world, across the USA with finales in Vegas, getting at least 5000 participants - maybe even twice that. And this all under the USBgF name, with all participants becoming registered and ranked. That would spark interest like nothing else, and in the long run, feed your ABT (or similar) events with new blood.
