With 9 rolls that make a prime (66, 64, 54, 44, 31, 11), and only 4 rolls that crack our five-point block (61, 22, 33), I like the double. Although some of them leave a direct shot, the cracking rolls are all good for us, as they allow us to switch to the attack.
- 65 leaves a direct shot on the 3pt.
- 63 leaves two blots in direct range, but dupes 1.
- 62, 52, 42, 32 all move our blot from the 3pt to the 1pt. Although safe, it puts it out of play. The first three of these also leave a blot in the outer board.
- 55 hits two checkers and leaves a direct shot, but manages to keep the 5-point block.
- 53, 43, and 41 leave direct shots at two blots.
