Are you also using 3-ply for cube? Because as far as I know, GNU's 2-ply cube is much stronger than GNU's 3-ply cube. For checker 3-ply is fine (and better than 2-ply for sure), but all odd plys are not good for cube when using GNU. So for cube you should be using either 2-ply or 4-ply.
I know tests were done few years ago for different bots with different set-ups, and 2-ply performed significantly better than 3-ply. Maybe someone can put up a link with the data. Has GNU's 3-ply cube improved in the meantime?
