In Response To: Book Series project (Igor)

First of all - thank you for those projects. I greatly appreciate the analysis and variants.

As for the books - I also believe that rolling the boot camp positions has a high value. My understanding is that the rollouts that were used were short and didn't always reach high level of confidence, not to mention using an older version of Snowie (I think it is based on the old assumption of 20% gammon ratio which changes the MET significantly). I sampled a few positions and compared to XG++ eval (I don't have the cpu for a reliable rollout) and some results were not in line with Trice. Therefore, Trice project should be an interesting one.

As for advanced backgammon - shoot me an email with your address and I will mail you the 2 books (as a loaner).
