Opening 64 at DMP and GS

According to the following rollouts, the argument for running is stronger at GS than it is at DMP.

Dmitriy Obukhov and Paul Weaver authored an excellent article on opening 64 for the July-August 2013 issue of Primetime Backgammon. It is available to USBGF members at Opening 64 in a Seven-Point Match.

The advice given by Dmitriy and Paul is that splitting may be preferred by the stronger player at scores where it trails running by less than about 0.01. At scores like 3-away 6-away and 3-away 7-away, where splitting trails by more than that, they like the running play.
