The best way to account for no shows is to run a progressive last chance. Then by Sunday morn those remaining in the LC are close to the money.

Another way when running a redraw LC is to see who shows up and then do a quick computerized draw and post the draw of who plays whom in rd 1 in several spots in the room so players can easily see who they're match up against and get started quickly. During rd 1 the draw sheet can be easily filled out.

So lets say that there are 35 players eligible to play in LC sked to start at 11 am. The cutoff is 11 am and if you haven't checked in by then you AREN'T playing in LC. So we no shows and now we have 31 players and an easy 5 rd tourney with just one bye rather than a bracket of 64 with some luckboxes getting a bye and a no-show as well.

I hate the complete redraw LC and over the last 35 years have suffered more late nights and early mornings bcuz of it. Some directors think it is a must to have a complete redraw LC and rather than give a bye or two to those who lose in the conso money rd, they force that often very late match to play either after midnight or at some silly hour like 9 am (again after finishing the previous match late). It makes much more sense to let players and staff go to bed and give a bye or two to those who feed into LC from the conso money rd, but it again depends on how many players will be in LC.
