Sassongammon - less luck, more skill?

I am not sure about that.

Consider the following:

i) There will be more anti-jokers.

ii) With less jokers an initial advantage will be harder to overcome.

iii) What is normally not a big joker might become one in Sassan Gammon. For example suppose the position is 12 on ace point vs 10 on ace point and one on 3 point and one on 4 point. In Sassan gammon a 34 roll is a big joker. This is related a bit to the point above.

iv) There will be less hits from anchor games and backgames. So less luck for that player but it means instead more luck for the player who was lucky enough with the dice to force his opponent into one.
