This is why we try to keep things simple. We learn the fundamentals. Then we apply judgment. There is no special reason to make the anchor here. But, if you play 33A, you leave an indirect seven shot. Which is more important in this position? XG has given you an answer. And this is why I stressed one and ignored the other in my original analysis. They are both important. They are both present. Now apply judgment. When your judgment leads you to the wrong answer, adjust your judgment.
