13/8 10/6 leaves 1 blot and 2 shots. In a pinch, the resulting blot on the 11pt could be used to play a 6 safely next turn.
13/9 10/5 leaves 2 blots and 6 shots. It creates builders on the 5pt, 6pt, 9pt, and 11pt. It also avoids stacking a fifth checker on the 6pt. Five times in six, we won't be hit, and when we are hit, XG won't be able to cover its own blots, including one on its 5pt that will be a target from the bar.
13/9 10/5
