Based on Paul's study in this thread, I'd say 6 pip difference with worse distribution for white is D/T, while 14 pip difference, being a pure race borderline take/drop becomes a drop with contact favoring blue.

Just a clarification:

In the left-hand position, Blue is up 6 pips. In the right-hand position, Blue is DOWN 14 pips.
