Gridgammon mac client

I don't have a windows PC (only mac), and have happily been using pdferguson's mac client for playing on GridGammon. Now I have probably done some form of "upgrade" on my machine, and the program crashes. I get into the lobby fine, but as soon as I try to launch a game or watch someone else's, the program closes with an error message.

I know it should be possible to download some windows-emulator onto the mac and run GG from there, but I was hoping for a less cumbersome way to get back on GG. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there an easy fix?
