Small Cube Error Reported by XGR++. Why?

That's one possibility, but I think XG is set up to always double in automatic double situations and therefore never misses a cube. I may be wrong.

Another possible explanation is that somehow the evaluations are slightly different for the ND and the DT branch, turning the variance reduction into a variance infusion.
